[font=Arial][size=2]I have a problem and can’t find a solution that works well, I’m not sure even what to search for exactly but I figure someone will hopefully know the answer.[/size][/font]

[font=Arial][size=2]Basically I have a web based AS1 flash app that needs to allow an upload of a jpeg image and then when it has uploaded it needs to be dynamically loaded into flash.[/size][/font]

[font=Arial][size=2]I have tried Yamzbrowser component and not only do I not understand how it works (so I can’t debug easily) but I find that it works and breaks for no apparent reason - it’s not reliable.[/size][/font]

[font=Arial][size=2]However I figure the way to do it is:[/size][/font]

[][font=Arial][size=2]Launch a small html popup from flash which contains a browse field.[/size][/font]
[][font=Arial][size=2]Then use that to interface with a php script to upload to the server.[/size][/font]
[*][font=Arial][size=2]Then somehow trigger a call to flash saying the upload was successful and it should load the image.[/size][/font]

Sounds simple, but I don’t know where to begin to make it work or do this kind of interfacing with flash. Plus I know there are browser issues and popup issues with sp2 etc - so I need a reasonably reliable and cross browser technique that works. Please help if you can.
