Instance name inside a mc

Hi,

i think i am going crazy… does anyone know if it is possible to give a button an instance name when it is located inside a movieClip?? When i put the button on the main timeline, I can give it a name, but when it is inside a movieClip i can’t. Is there any way around this???

What do you mean you can’t? If you click on the button, the Instance Name box should appear in the properties panel :slight_smile:

You have to double click the MC to go down the hierarchical level where your button object is located.
