I’ve been having some success with the iPhone packager, both in getting animations to run smoothly and for touches/swipes to be perfectly responsive. I am having a little issue though in that when I play a looping animation (PNG sequence) it plays through slow and choppy the first time through and then runs perfectly smoothly.
Is there any way around this? I’m assuming it’s doing some kind of caching the first time through? Is there a way to get it to cache before it plays?
Any other tips or tricks people have come across?
