Is there an easy way to do transitions

I know I could make like a million different scenes but is there a simple way to make transition? Do I have to make a different effect for each possible situation. Like http://www.wa007.com/ whenever a menu button is pressed it moves to the far left and and new button show up but when another button is pressed, another transition occurs depending on the previously pressed button pressed. Is there any easy way to do this or do you just have to make a million different tweens for every possible situation? If you know an easy way to do transitions please let me know.
