I work in the training development dept. of a large human services agency for the disabled. As part of the training process for annual certificate requirements for many of our health care employees we try to make boring trainings like OSHA and Regulations into a game format, and currently I’m working to develop one using Flash and Dreamweaver.
So, in developing a game, I’ve created images with links to different questions, answers and reviews of materials, however, when someone uses some of these links to go in a certain direction, I want the link to close so that they can return to the main page again but cannot reuse a link after they’ve accessed it once.
Is this possible? I haven’t been able to find a way to make this work…and frankly, I’m new at this and learning as I go.

many ways you could could go about this, in flash you could use sharedObjects, in dreamweaver you could use cookies to check and re-make the page depening on a cookies variable and yes its possible
You could do it by using Flash as the main menu, then open links in a new window & have the flash remove/hide the button they clicked.
