I’m currently updating my website, and although I despise Internet Explorer, I still cater for it given it’s large market share. Anyway, here in lies the problem. As I’m using a Mac I have no real way or testing my website in Internet Explorer. I have access to one ‘test’ machine running IE7, but upon testing it became apparent that it failed to render my new website.
As far as I am aware I am using compliant CSS and HTML (Aptana Studio has validated it, and I am referring to W3C) and so far the website works in Safari 3, Firefox 3 (Mac and PC) and Opera (PC). However, not in IE7 as I mention.
Below is an example link. The website should render an orange line under the words ‘Fixed Media’. IE7 renders an orange border around the entire word. Of course, I don’t want this, so if anyone could enlighten me if my code is wrong, or there’s a setting to check in IE7 on the machine I am using, I would be grateful.
