i need a sniplet of javascript to go into my flash site, how would i go about doing this, i can’t find the answer ANYWHERE…thanks for any help.
oh. i HAVE the sniplet i just can’t figure out how to get flash to accept it and use it correctly.
what does it do? you can’t put javascript into Flash. what do you want to do?

its actually a code for theweathernetwork.com that makes a small button appear with the day’s weather and current temp.
i am aware of the possibility of using html in your flash in some manner by pulling up an external file, is this not possible with javascript as well in a similar manner?

its only possible to bring in basic “font formatting” html like the b, u, and i tags. To do something like that in Flash you would have to make it from scratch… not just put the script in.
does that mean if i ‘re-worded’ the code to flash language it SHOULD technically work?
no. You would have to recreate the entire thing. not just simple re-wording.
well i suppose that means that since i am not actually the creator of this graphic and it is simple being called onto my site by this js code that it is impossible…ho humm…well i suppose there’s always another 2 ways to do something…perhaps i’ll have to have a pop up window (tho i hate those evil spawn of satan) made in html. thanks jubba for your assistance.
