Job Title: FLEX Developer Consultant
Positions: 6 consultants needed
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 6 months to 1 year or longer
Telecommuting: NO - MUST work on-site
Rate: 55/hour
** MANDATORY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ** 2 years of Flash/FLEX development experience with a minimum of 12 months Flash/FLEX development in a TRADING OR TRADING SYSTEMS ENVIRONMENT.
Requirements:
- BS/BA Degree
- Minimum of 12 months Flash/FLEX development in a trading or trading systems environment
- Development of enterprise level Adobe Flex solutions
- Strong understanding of XML
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design techniques
- Experience with Object-oriented ActionScript
- Experience with visual design and the Flex controls needed to construct a front-end GUI application
- Experience with Cairngorm and Model View Controller design methodology
- Ability to code for web service connections and be able to parse resulting XML responses
- Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript and External Interface Flex coding
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in Financial Services, Prime Services, Finance and/or Lending
Desired Skills:
- Prior project leadership experience is a plus
- User Interface (UI) design experience
- Usability expertise
