Jpg into swf into main swf?

I have a main movie with alot of mc containers in it. I have a swf that loads an external jpg into itself. This works. However, when I call the swf into the main movie the external jpg doesn’t show up. I’m using the script from the “loading external swfs, jpgs, mp3s” tuturial. What could be the problem?
