Just thought I'd share my frustration

I am in the process of organizing 3000+ fonts using extensis suitcase. I cant believe I never used a font organizing application before…this is the most tedious thing I have ever done.

But if you are like me and hate waiting for PS and ILL…to load all those fonts. Then this is the way for you to go also…

But it is time consuming.

yea www.extensis.com it really is the bomb because you can deactivate and temp install and manage fonts…But you gotta set up your categories. So in the end it will be great. Plus I just aquired the adobe font library which had 1000’s of fonts. Only thing it does not have is multiple masters.

I have been on suitcase for about four years it is great!!! Are you on a mac?

nah I am on PC but it is great… I am not installing it on my other cpu tho. Too many fonts and Suitcase does not do multiple masters, so in that case ATM is better.

Ouch. I feel your pain. I remember trying to categorize and organize all my fonts when I first acquired Suitcase. I gave up halfway through it. Good luck :wink:
