I am wondering whether its possible to load a .swf into another .swf but retain the background.
Here’s my setup …
In my main movie I have an MC that external .swf’s are loaded into on nav button click. However, the whole site, probably, is going to have the same bg. So, rather than having to download the BG everytime, can I not just place the .swf on top transparent?

Not mine! 
If I place the bg within the MC external .swfs load into, once loaded the bg is just white.
