Its a bit confusing for me. Im trying to create a playlist of about 80 songs as to which users can sample 30 sec of mp3 clips. As Im following the tutorial it explains steps to you as you are working on the root timeline of the movie but when getting to step 5 it reads: **“Press CTRL-F8 to insert a new symbol. Select Movie Clip, and give it the name “emptyMc.” Return to the _root timeline, and drag an instance of emptyMc onto the stage and place it anywhere. Select this new movie so that you can see its Actions panel.”
**This is where I get lost as it is telling me to return to the root when Im thinking Im already there. Has anyone ever followed this or seen this tutorial before? Or maybe there is a better way to go about this?
