I have been working on a simple AS3 platform game (and relying pretty heavily on tutorials) as a prototype for a media theory class. Major work on it is due tomorrow and I am now starting to panic…
I’m still a relative beginner at AS3. What I would like to happen is for an mp3 to play when the player left or right arrows. But I only want it to play while the key is being held down, and stop when it is released. Ideally it would pick up where it left off in the song the next time the key was triggered, but I’m assuming that’s too complicated for AS3. Similarly, another sound will be triggered with up and down arrows.
I’m getting desperate. I will be forever grateful if someone can help ASAP!!
