I’ve been going through the Infinite Menu example and have produced my own version using my own buttons. It works on a test .fla - with the background just a bit bigger than 1 instance of the menu, so as to incorporate the correct spacing into the instance which is pasted off the background (so to get spacing right when the menu scrolls).
What I’m trying to do now is to incorporate the menu onto a much large background.
I want to place the infinite menu to the right-middle of the background - to fit in with other heading/information/design that’s there already.
So far, I’ve got the menu/mask into the movie, but when testing the movie I can only see the last 2 buttons scrolling rapidly across the left hand edge of the mask - slowing only when I move the mouse over to the very far right of the movie.
I’m guessing that this is to do with:
a) The xcentre=xxx actionscript
b) The objects registration point(s)
I’ve tried moving the registration point to the very left, more towards the centre and to the very right.
I’ve also tried changing the xcentre= to be the background size and to about half the size, but can see any obvious changes. :evil:
I’m pretty sure now that this is all in the actionscript, but could really do with your help to try to work it out.
