Lack of a "buttons tutorial"

Im kinda new at this, but I have read the entire basic and advanced tutorial because i wanted to know how to create buttons with cool effects, however none of the above mentioned tutorials have a detailed explanation about this issue and I couldnt get the info Im looking for.:*(

Well you don’t need to do that exact effect, but it is pretty much the same process just altered depending on the effect.
