Hi there,
I’m a newbie to Flash MX, and was going through the tutorials and came across the lighting mask tutorial for Flash 5.
I tried doing it in MX but failed not sure why!!

I got the gradient right for the light that travells left to right and the breaking up of the text but for Some reason I can’t get the gradient thing going on the text itself and am confussed as to why??
All help would be appreciated!!!
