Linking progressbar to dynamic text

Hello, all, my first post to your forum. I am new to Flash and am building an image-heavy website using components and some actionscript. One of the components will link to a dynamic text field to show a load percentage but I want to use a progressbar instead. How do I link the two? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
