If I was doing a post like this, I would do up like a vector saxophone and use like bright neon colors on like a purple/bluish back ground. The saxophone would bring in the jazz crowd while the bright neon colors bring in the electronica crowd.

Well, even though I can see what you mean, I think going in that direction, would be a little cliché. But I will try to see, if I can bring in the music a little more, like Blommestein mentioned aswell.

@Blommestein - the only Digidesign banners I recall, are the ones that show an actual screenshot of the program, with a logo on top.
And as for the line “Somewhere between electronica…” could and should be reworked.

But you’re all right in some way, and that is I should try to bring the music into the poster.
I’ll keep working and post again later.

Nah it was more with the Virtual Instruments. Like Strike, a drum computer, had this really neat looking stick pounding, making this cool looking vibration waves. And Hybrid, a synthesizers, had glowing sine waves, looking similar to aurora borealis. Then xpand! had light emitting from the logo. They were all neat in their own way.
