Hi,
I’m in the process of making a live sports news area similar to the one here and wondered if anyone can give me some pointers on how to go about it?
I’ve made afew flash apps before that retrieves data from xml files…but thats not truly live as it refreshes the xml on a loop rather than update instantly. I looked into setting up xml sockets but it looks like theres alot of server-side work to it.
If anyone else has any tutorials, articles or even fla’s that would help me on my way I would be very grateful.
