I started out doing my entire project in AS2.0… using a container file to pull all of my movieclips in. I left my intro animation until last and found a cool AS3.0 component that would make my life easier doing text animations.
The animation intro will play first, stop, then theoretically I’d like my AS2.0 swf container file to load. There is a ton of navigation back and forth within the AS2.0 files, but once the AS3.0 animation plays, there is no need to go back to it.
I’d like to give people a choice to skip the intro and go straight to the AS2.0 container file as well.
I’m really new to AS3.0… so I’m sure this is a stupid question, but I have to start somewhere. Any help I can get I would appreciate greatly. This project is due Thursday!
