I’m new here and I’m not sure whether this is the right forum to post this question. What I’m attempting to do is to have scrolling thumbnail buttons, which when pressed let you see a larger version of each picture. What I did is place the thumbnails in a strip within something like a scrollbar component. Scrolling works OK and buttons respond to the programmed states. However if I don’t place the larger picture within the movie clip in which I have the scrolling thumbnails (which would mean this larger picture would scroll too) the appropriate button can’t recall the larger picture. That is, if I place the large picture on the main timeline the button does not recall it even if I type the correct scene name, frame label or frame number. I’m relatively a beginner with Flash and I’m at a loss with this. I’m working on Flash CS3 with Action Script 2.0. Thanks in advance for any help.
