Greetings,
I’m creating an XML MP3 player in Flash 8. I have more tracks than I have room to list them, so I would like to include a scroll bar to allow for users to scroll through the tracks and choose the one they want to listen to.
The player works great, but once I try to load the XML data for the song names into a movice clip that’s 1 level deep into the main timeline, it no longer works.
I’ve tried using _root. and _level0. but these don’t seem to work.
I’ve perused a few forums and it seems like this is a common problem. What is the solution to loading XML data into movie clips one level or more deeper than the original timeline?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
