I am doing a presentation that consists of 12 slides.
There are 5 slides with video embedded in it. As a result swf file size is more than 4 mb for these 5 slides consisting of video. I didn’t choose Flash communication Server to stream video to cut down the cost. So I have embeded video into flash file.
Since it was taking long time to download these movies, I came up with a solution of loading 11 slides at the time of playing 1st slide. With this I am able to cut down 40% of download time.
Its working fine with Windows. Occassinaly it doesn’t show preloaders.
Problem with Macintosh is that its playing only after downloading all the files.
I am using the following script screen in the first slide for background downloading in different levels.
