I just bought a Motorola RAZR from Verizon (my Mom’s got a family plan) and it sucks. Verizon took away the file transfer, (I realized that after I spent 10 bucks on a cable) and I can’t put stuff on it. It’s REAL SLOW, and there is zero expandibility. My friend has this phone and it’s got a keyboard, which is awesome. I send like a bagillion text messages a day, and it’s getting old typing with the numbers. I realized that I want a smartphone. I’ve narrowed it down to two:
Treo 650 - $300
XV6700 - $400
These support bluetooth, a keyboard, slots for memory, and all that good stuff. I haven’t had a chance to use either the Palm or Windows Mobile software yet, and I was wondering what the good and bad things were? Can I download apps on the computer and put them on the phone?
I think the XV6700 looks better, but it costs more. Also, the keyboard is bigger. It says it supports Broadband Access, but I’m not quite sure what that is.
Anyone have good/bad experience with these? Can you reccomend better ones for Verizon?
