Here’s the job description:
One of the Bay Area’s hottest technology-oriented real estate companies is looking for visual creative talent. Applicant must be enthusiastic about web design and multimedia creation. We’re looking for a junior-level creative designer who has a good vision for the future of web-based real estate from a general consumer perspective as well as a clear understanding of the business audience as well.
Required skills:
• Must be an expert Photoshop user.
• Ability to write good, clean HTML and CSS by hand.
• Understands the process of both Web production and Multimedia production.
• Design skills for corporate and consumer web/multimedia projects.
• Enjoys a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent writing/communication skills.
• Knowledge of commercial internet/web tools and protocols.
• Ability to manage complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
• Good judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
• Proficient in the following applications
- Photoshop (CS)
- Dreamweaver (MX 2004)
- Flash (MX 2004)
- Mac OS X and Windows XP
• Knowledge of Actionscript2, C#/ASP.NET, SQL and Javascript a plus (not required).
• DVD authoring and video editing expertise also a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
• Create internal/external company web pages including graphics, animation and functionality.
• Image preparation/optimization for the web.
• Design web page layout and online content, user interface graphics, icons, color schemes, content and infrastructure for new product release and new web-hosted product offering.
• Perform web usability testing.
• Provide technical assistance to Site Administrators.
