I will be building a website for the Western New York YWCA. The current site they have is atrocious and is in dire need of a redesign. Looky Here
The thing is that I am doing to for a class. It is what the school calls a “service learning” project where we create a web site for a local nonprofit group free of charge.
My problem is that I would like to build it and let them be able to update their news section as easily as possible without having to get me involved. I think I have read of websites where the people the site belongs to can update news sections/journals from a cell phone, e-mail, or something simple like that.
The people working at this organization have little to no tech skills.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
I am not asking for anyone to do the work, just to point me where I need to go to learn how.
I almost think that it is done with XML.
I am also not sure that I am posting in the right section.
