Hello, I’m new to this forum. If my nickname is too long you can call me Max. I’m a skilled Flash programmer and a university student.
I am currently making a game with the name Fierce Melee. It’s based on Super Smash Bros and I’m doing it in Actionscript 2.0 for Flash Player 7. The game will be in English and Spanish, I’m also planning to make an extra downloadable version of the game for people who don’t want to wait for it to load in the browser. The battle system is nearly complete, soon the only thing I’ll have left to do is design the menu, add players, items, stages and game modes. Now I’m looking for pixel artists to make the animations for characters in the game. I cannot offer very much in change as I am just a student. You wil have my thanks, a place in the credits and I can offer my programming skills to you if you ever need it (I could offer this to anyone, but I can’t guarantee that I can do everything). If you decide to help me I’d like to ask you to join my development team while the game isn’t finished yet. I may need your help more than once, or maybe just a few suggestions and opinions. About the animations. Right now the number of characters is yet to be determined, but the number of animations for each character is between 21 and 24. I’m planning to put characters who have appeared in Nintendo consoles (Mario, Sonic, Link, Kirby…), although I may add other characters as well.
