It’s a cunning device to avoid people sending you pointless PMs instead of posting on the forum… If I get one more PM about “How did you become a web designer?” then I’ll probably scream.
Actually, weren’t we thinking of having a small Ask The Mods section for all these common questions that we get?
Ilyas: Yep as Kit said, now that Kirupa enabled the Mod ability to see invisible members I made myself invisible from regular members, but you mods know I am here still. I got so tired of people PMing me to say “I saw you were on and thought you could check out my thread, thanks”… pff, instead of deleting I might as well just hide and not get them at all. I cant’ disable PMs because I have some floating around that I am waiting for replies on or need to reply to.
But enough babbling, since Kirupa installed the vB hack for mods to see invisible members, all invisible members will appear with an asterisk next to their name.

I’m sure it was mentioned, albeit briefly… 'Course I could just be imagining the whole thing.
Basically, it’s that a lot of us get PM-ed with the same stuff over and over again, so it would be a page where people could submit questions to us without filling up the mailboxes. Sort of (but not quite) like an interview… 'Is there anything you want to ask Kitiara?" for example. And there’s be a couple of commonly asked questions that people send to me.

I never realized how many people ghost on the forum. It feels good being able to see them and they’re not even aware of it. :evil:
Yeah I never knew either EG. It is going to be nice to actually see them. I hate replying to a thread and still having a few minutes to spare, and wondering if I should stick around and see if they will reply or not but I can’t tell because they are hidden. At least now I will be able to see if they are in that thread or not.
