Being a newbie here: How often do this kind of contests take place?

I just want to make a note about using other ppls artwork. While I donāt think it can be avoided obviouslyā¦ I personally will be judging it heavily on whether you relied to heavily on someone elseās artwork, w/o much reguard to the layout, to make your cover good. Not sure about the other mods but thatās definately something to take into consideration.
K so this may seem repetitive, but i have to ask again. Do we simply post a msg in this thread with the image in the msg? I can freely asdmit being new to the āforumā thing. thanks guys

what about logos or actual products ie; ipod, xbox ect.? seeing how this isnāt really being re-distributed or sold for anything. are these types of things ok to use?

I was previewing some of the other entries and I noticed a lot of copyright images being usedā¦Iām guessing this is not a problem? In other words, it doesnāt matter if we use copyrighted or material that is really not ours on the covers?
Iām totally cool with it, though Iām most probably going to do it all on my own. Havenāt had much time to get around to it quite yet, but Iāll post mine soonā¦probably this weekend or so.
