Sorry to bring up the fading grid again, it’s just that I have searched and searched, but I can’t figure out how to make the grid fade from right to left?!

oh, ps, don’t worry if its too much trouble, but does anyone know how to reveal the entire image quicker, like say a 640x480 image in about 1-2 seconds?
