[COLOR=black][FONT=Verdana]I am new to using flash and actionscript. For a project at school we have to make a virtual game to teach students about basic IT.[/FONT][/COLOR]
[COLOR=black][FONT=Verdana]How I want to do this is to make a simple game which pops questions at the player while they play the game.[/FONT][/COLOR]
[COLOR=black][FONT=Verdana]Here is my vision:[/FONT][/COLOR]
[COLOR=black][FONT=Verdana]An ongoing road with a car in the middle. The car moves from side to side on the road to collect points that are placed on the road. After the car/player gains a set amount of points, A multiple choice question pops up that they have to answer in order to keep playing.[/FONT][/COLOR]
[COLOR=black][FONT=Verdana]I know it doesn’t sound like too much fun, but its the best i think i’ll be able to accomplish in the short time i have.[/FONT][/COLOR]
[COLOR=black][FONT=Verdana]I know how to make motion tweens in flash and i know how to make a button.[/FONT][/COLOR]
[COLOR=black][FONT=Verdana]I already have my animated car ready and using online tutorials, I’ve learned how to make it move from side to side.[/FONT][/COLOR]
[COLOR=black][FONT=Verdana]Now I need to know how I can have my car gain points and keep track of them[/FONT][/COLOR]
[COLOR=black][FONT=Verdana]Also I need to know how to make my trivia questions pop out so that the user answers them and then keeps playing. I am thinking of having 10 questions. [/FONT][/COLOR]
[COLOR=black][FONT=Verdana]I am using Flash CS4 and my car movements have been coded in Activescript 2.0[/FONT][/COLOR]
[COLOR=black][FONT=Verdana]I know how to program in java and some other languages but have absolutely no experience in Activescript.[/FONT][/COLOR]
