Making photos/images in portfolio look very crisp, saturated ?, nice colors?

i’m putting my projects on a site and was wondering how to make the images look best as they can, bright/colorful/crisp… any photoshop tips ? I usually use, image - adjustments - auto levels and some curve changes…
