I am making a mario like game, and everything is pretty much working. jumping, platforms, ect… are all great, but i made the mistake of making the background and platforms move instead of the character and now when the character hits a wall or other obstical the background will push him off screen and you can not get him back. I need a new method of scrolling him, like fix him so he MUST be in the center all the time. i have a basic understanding of actionscript but for some reason i cant grasp a way to do this. any help would be great.
