Masking tutorial question

Hi,
I’m tring to do a masking effect like the tutorial below but I wanna see the color of the dragable MC like in the tutorial but I only see the text masked with out the MC’s color
can anyone tell me how to be able to see the MC’s color when masking?:q:

hmm so you basically want to be able to see the circle that you are dragging around? Is that what you saying?

yes for example on the tut you can se the text grinish and on my fla you can see the text all white

did you put your text in the masking layer??

weird, if your text is the mask, it should get the colour of the mc your dragging (which is in the **masked **layer)
i suggest you take another look, else post your fla

i think this is what you want.
i’ve put the text in the masking layer and made it a mc. Now it’s dragging if your xmouse<300, off course you can change this…
