I have an issue with masking in flash mx 2004…
thing is… i want to use an image(.png or .gif) created in photoshop to work as a mask to other images but is doesn’t work…
so… let’s say i want to set a grunge mask on pictures… its hard to do a grunge effect on flash because the brushes are not the best…
so i do the mask with a transparent background on photoshop and then i upload it to library on flash
i go to mask layer and i use the mask image from library but when i try out the movie mask doesn’t work or it assumes the full size of the rectangule instead of using the grunge effect i made with TRANSPARENT background for masking to work!
Can anyone help me with this?
