I have quick question with Illustrator. I have radiate sign and a bunch of grunge speckles. I want the speckles to only be where the radiate sign is. How do I do this? I think its called a mask but I don’t know how to set it up. Thanks for your help.
yeah its a mask your after, select the shape of the rediate? and then the grunge shapes and hit clt 7 or go to object/clipping mask/make (thats off the top of my head so it might vary, lol)
I tried that and when I did the filter everthing disappeared and there were still speckles outside the area of the logo.?
filters and masks don’t always go together very well
try using the pathfinder instead (booleans)
didnt know you were using filters, like mlk explained pathfinder might be the way to go.
