I’m in a bind so perhaps one of you code wizards can assist me.
About a year ago I figured out how to write custom java functions that maximize the index page for a site as soon as you type in the URL, and then automatically open a popup window HTML which is centered on the screen and the the flash file loads into. It seems to be very common now amongst flash sites to do this so you can see some of the backgrouns on the index bleeding past the popup that the flash loads into. I don’t know whether I deleted this file or what but after searching through 1 Terabyte of hard drive space I can’t find the file and I can’t recall how to write the script and can’t find the info online that explained how to do it.
The reason I chose custom java function for this is that the dreamweaver plugins that maximize browsers don’t work correctly in safari on Mac OS X only IE, and for some stupid reason safari doesn’t like tables with percentages either so I’ve had to avoid that in my design as well. I am trying to finish off a site by Monday and need to figure this out. If anyone can help please respond ASAP. For anyone who knows java it should be easy because it was only about twenty or so lines of code. Thanks!
