Hello…I am hoping that someone can assist me with this challenge. I am new to the flash development community, but enjoy the challenge. I have created two swf’s for the web: one is my website file and the other is a preloader swf that I have created. Obviously, I understand the challenges with utilizing swf for a website because of the downloading issues, but i know there is a fix.
I designed my site with indesign and saved it as a swf with a html. I designed the second file which is my preloader in cs4 flash. I want to use the preloader swf in conjuction with my swf site and keep all of the interactivity i created with indesign. My questions are:
-How do you merge two swf’s in flash
-Is there a htlm code that will point the preloader swf to the site swf once it loads?
-Because of the difference of downloading time’s with some browsers, how does the preloader adjust to this and key the swf site to open?
Any help would be appreciated!
