Microsoft vs. eolas: this may get really bad

i just got an e-mail from my dad, which he got from his boss, and my dad’s boss got from ms or something. whatever… the point is that in the court case of eolas vs. ms, ms lost, and somewhere after, or by (i don’t know) april 11th, ms, in its automatic update, will remove the “features” from computers…

i searched google, and found some websites, so this must not be a scam…

is this true?
