Middle-Mouse Button not working in FireFox

This has been going on since the second day I ever used FireFox. I love FireFox, but I cannot get the Middle-Mouse Click to open links in a new window! I have no idea why! It worked on day one, but not after theat… and I’ve since tried reinstalling to 0.9.3, uninstalling/reinstalling extensions, etc, but nothing works! Any ideas?

it doesnt work for me… but thats cos ive got my middle button set to ‘double-click’. check if your middle button is assigned to anything in the mouse properties…

Set to "universal scroll"
I’ve tried having it as “AutoScroll”, and simply “Middle CLick”, to no avail…

Isnt it a spyware??
I heard a friend that had something like that…
Try installing and un-installing the software…
Or run Ad-Adware 6.0 …
Just 4 precaution…

C ya…

Thanks, but I run SpyBot weekly - I’ve been using FireFox for months…

FF doesn’t have spyware, I use my wheel click as middle button, worked since 0.8.

Try removing C:\Documents and Settings<username>\Application Data\Phoenix(it might also be firefox, I believe it changed recently)

If that doesn’t fix it, try installing Tabbrowser Extensions. That gives you loads of other options related to windows and tabs.

Ive done both of those today…
Neither worked… :stuck_out_tongue:
Thanks, though… I think it might be my mouse… 'though its a Logitech… and a fairly new model…
