I’ve tried searching the forums and the web via google and because there are so many text bugs etc I’ve not been able to filter out an answer to this question from the lot.
I have volunteered to build this site http://www.gottacon.com and so far it’s been ok. There is one issue that has come up and I can;t understand why it’s happening.
On the “Where & When” page I have multiple links to outside sites and have highlighted all links yellow. However other text has been highlighting in the published swf that was not highlighted in the .fla (If your looking at the site it’s the two paragraphs above the map.)
Does anyone know of various reason why text properties would change after you publish it? Some random info the may or may not help diagnose the issue are as follows.
I’m using FlashMX prof 2004. My movies are being published in flash player 6.
There is a main movie which loads the external swf WhereandWhen.swf
Where and when .swf has a movie clip on the main stage in which is a text box and the map. I also had to put a second text box below the map. All text boxes are static text and selectable.
The content goes off the working area available in flash.
Thanks for any help provided and don’t hesitate to ask for source files or code as is necessary to help me with this issue.
