Missing USB category in Device Manager

Hey guys,

I’m running Windows 2000 with an AMD IWill processor. I’m having trouble installing a wireless keyboard / mouse suite (Gyration) via USB. When going to Device Manager, I see no “Universal Serial Bus Controllers” entry. Is there any way to awaken or enable these?

Is it possible that you never installed the drivers for your USB ports?

Maybe? The system arrived “ready to roll” … according to the retailer. Heck, I’m not even sure what brand the USB’s are. ? I loaded a default driver offered from Win2000, but it didn’t seem to help. Is there anything in BIOS I need to enable?

Is it a custom built? Look for drivers for the mobo.
