Missing video on a swf imported into a director

i have produced a SWF film that has vactor annimation and a video background

for some reason the video is missing in the swf when the SWf is embeded on a director movie the video is in .mov format

does anyone know where the video is and how to keep the origninal intengrity of the SWF:-\

I have a mov file embedded into a swf file, which will not play in Director 8.5 I’ve tried it all!
However, working with the demo of FLIX the swf file does play? How does FLIX acheive these results and how can I obtain these in a MX FLASH environment?
