For some reason whenever I embed my font (Apple LiGothic Medium) into a text field and set the text with htmlText, capital Ws don’t show up. Anyone have an explaination?
is the W italic or bold? (different from the rest of the text?) if so embed the type of font W is(italic or bold)
Well, it’s all the same font. And the only letter that won’t display are capital Ws. Strange.
What items are you embeding specifically? Are you specifying letters or embedding certain sets? If you choose to embed the entire font does it work correctly?
I’m embeding all roman capitals, lowercase, punctuation, and numbers. The font actualy has all the Chinese kanji, making it too large to reasonably embed the whole thing. But even that isn’t working.
And a different font does work? Hmmm . . . that’s not something I’ve ever seen before. Set to just text instead of htmlText it also works?
If i were you i would open up Font Book and validate the font, you may find you have an issue with it. If there is an issue with it you can re-install it with addidtionalessentials.pkg on your install DVD:)
