im not really familiar with this function, ive searched the web and the tuts i found only confused me more.
for a basic example i want to turn
http://www.mod_rewrite.com.au/?page=view&type=profile&user=the_rampage
into
http://www.mod_rewrite.com.au/view/profile/the_rampage
and be able to do other rewrites like
http://www.mod_rewrite.com.au/view/image/347634
im sure someone out there can help
