First off, I am a designer (not a programmer by any means) but I know html/css and I can tweak some javascript (mootools, scriptaculous, etc plugins and get them to work (but not understand the code)). But now I need to learn how to do more, actually write some effects for the sites that I am doing, which is very VERY overwhelming since I don’t know a lick of javascript. Please be gentle when I ask for some help, I am really trying to figure how to take a scriptaculous effect and use mootools instead to do it.

Now I got the fade into work (i think) but once I click a link nothing happens.
I am not sure which direction to go into b/c ive been reading how to use the fade class, opacity tween past few days and there are a few ways to do this and i believe i need to use an event handler but i thought i use onComplete to replace afterFinish (oh gawd I feel stupid)
I just got the new “Mootools Essentials” book to help me along. If there is anyone that can help me or point me in the direction of where i can get this to work, please help me
