I’m in a small spot of bother. Using this Kirupa tutorial I have replaced the menu with an image. Anyway, I would like to apply a motion blur when the image/menu is moving and subsequently the amount of blur reduces the slower this image/menu is scrolling.
So, I have converted this tutorial to Flash 8, AS 2.0 but I cannot seem to implement the blurFilter class. I am using this page for help on blurFilter. However, AS isn’t my strong point so I am struggling to implement it correctly. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.
In the meantime I’ll keep pluggin’ away.
