I’m trying to figure out how I can make a masked slider so that I can have dates appear and move higher and lower according to the direction the mouse is moved left+right of center. I have it working, my problem is that it keeps moving even when I don’t want it too. For an example of what I would like to do see this:

The back and forward buttons slide the images L + R, but only when you click on them. The way mine works is that it goes constantly back and forth regardless of where the mouse is. I don’t necessarily want to have to press forward and back buttons, I like the slide to happen simply by the left right movement of the mouse but HOW DO I KEEP THE SENSITIVITY ONLY IN ONE AREA INSTEAD OF THE WHOLE .SWF BEING SENSITIVE?
