Mov to wmv help please

I was using riverpast to try to convert this mov into a wmv… but when i convert it… i’m not getting any audio for the wmv

i’ve tried different settings, can’t seem to get audio for the wmv

can anyone help?

mov file : http://azulinteractive.com/budllight-twopastfive.mov

thanks in advance

I tried like seven different things with Adobe Premier and I cant seem to export it with audio either.

I had this problem once before. I can’t remember the name of the program I used but I basically exported the audio track from the video as an .mp3 and then imported it into Premier as its own object to sync to the movie.

Good luck.

I get audio but no video

tony - have you tried the free Windows Media Encoder? It is capable of importing from various formats and exporting to WMV: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/9series/encoder/default.mspx

The video is encoded in H.264 format, which, if I remember correctly, was a new feature on Quicktime 7. Whichever audio compression codec they’ve used probably comes with QT 7, also.

If you don’t have the codec on your system, it won’t work, no matter what program you use. Once you’ve got QT 7 installed, any Quicktime-aware program (Premiere 6 (!Pro), After Effects) should be able to import it and convert it to another format.

Very Interesting ya3.
Even if you figure it out Tony, any chance you can leave the video hosted until Monday (when I am back at work) to test myself?

thanks for the help guys… very grateful for your time
