HEY EVERYONE…
This is my first post and I am hoping this works…
ANYWAYS, I have a small mini navigation that I want to include on my home page that I am working on. I have main navigation at the top of my website in HTML, BUT I just wanted to add a lil flash to the page to make it a lil more eye catching.
So This whole thing works PERFECT besides the fact that the movie clip gets stuck when u roll off the flash movie directly onto the html part of my website. If you roll back up into the flash movie first the movie works fine.
I am using a “onClipEvent (enterFrame)” that is attached to the movie to make the “roll over” effect start. There is an else statement that tells the movie clip to play in reverse when you roll off the movie clip into the other part of the flash movie. BUT like I said when you roll off the flash movie and dont roll into into the other part of the flash movie the bottom movie gets stuck.
I am NOT an expert at actionscript just good enough to do tutorials and edit the actionscript so the movie behaves like I want. I can do simple action by my slef and I checked the actionscript dictionary that adobe has and I see that there is NO “onClipEvent (exitFrame)” so I dont know what to do. I tried giving the movie clip “on (rollOut), and on (rollOver)” action but then the movie clip behaves like a button and the buttons that are inside the movie clip do not act like buttons any more.
SO I am clueless on how to get this thing to work how I want. If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it. Even if there is another TOTALLY different way to do what I am trying to do. I am open to changing my whole movie around. SOOOOO please let me know if anyone has IDEAS
thanks in advance…
PS… this is the page that I am trying to get to work…
